About
I’m Ethan Millie, a passionate, curious, and hardworking computer science graduate. I majored in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, where I developed a deep interest in data-driven decision-making and algorithmic problem solving.
Professionally, I’ve gained hands-on experience as a Junior Data Analyst at MARS Petcare, where I transformed complex factory data into actionable insights. I’ve also worked independently as the sole Technical Support Officer at a school, managing and repairing a wide range of IT systems. Alongside that, I’ve led tutoring sessions at university. I also tinker with building software and hardware to solve personal quandries.
I’m a friendly and approachable person who thrives on stepping outside of my comfort zone. I love learning new technologies, solving tough problems, and pushing myself in new directions. In my own time, I’m a tech enthusiast, indie game developer, and lifelong learner.
Outside of tech, I’m an active person and a bit of a wannabe athlete. I regularly play soccer, futsal, touch footy, table tennis, netball, and go rock climbing or running when I can. I’ve also competed in a few small video game tournaments — it’s safe to say I like a challenge, whether it’s physical, mental, or digital.
Whether I’m writing code, debugging a network, designing a game system, or trying to pb my 5km time, I’m always looking for the next opportunity to grow.
This website exists to let you know a little bit about me, but also as a sort of blog for projects I am working on.
